Our products are designed and manufactured in a low-cost process technology platform providing improved application compatibility with consistently high quality, at commercial scales and without high temperature limitations on the range of materials that may be used.
By applying this technology platform creatively we are involved in a broad spectrum of solutions for a variety of industries, including textiles, paints and coatings, agricultural and the dental and orthopedic materials industries.
In 2007, G3i launched the GreenShield™ brand of finishes for the commercial and residential interiors textile industry. The technology behind the GreenShield family of products takes advantage of nanotechnology’s advanced applications. The developed methods allow for the production of multi-functional nanoparticles in which as many as four, or more, groups of different molecules can provide synergistic benefits such as water and soil/stain repellency, antimicrobial and antibacterial resistance, and flame retardancy in a single finish with greater efficiency than each function delivered separately. GreenShield is the greenest and safest multifunctional finish on the market today, reducing or eliminating the use of harmful chemistries that are persistent in the environment and harmful to life.
